Happy Birthday...To Me? {FIF #106}

I'm not in the habit of making myself a birthday card.
In fact I {never} have.
That isn't what I set out to do.
I received my new stamps and dies in the mail and sat down to just play around with them.

I die cut the letters, stamped them in some deliciously sherbert-y colors,
and then sugar coated them.

Funny thing is my birthday isn't until September,
 but when it comes around I'll remember to wish big!

Don't forget to check out the File.

I also started a new board for all the crafty products out there that are on my growing wish list.

Cardstock: PTI White

Great card. Love the splash of color among all the white space. What did you use for the stripes on the letters?

Oh, my. What a great idea. This card is wonderful. I think you should give it to DH, so he can give it to you on your birthday. After all, you wouldn't want him spending good money at Hallmark, when you could be using that money to buy stamps. I think making your own birthday card is a wonderful idea--I pretty much make all the cards that Peter gives to me.
