It's time again to share with you what we have created with our kits.  This month Christina put together this wonderful kit.  I was so inspired and had so much fun creating with the contents!

Little Love Notes

Monday, July 30, 2012

I used the piece I made for my blog header to make a little card for Ryan.  Every now and then I like to leave him a little note on his night table.
 I know he likes them:).

Have a great Monday!

Life Is Sweet

Life Is Sweet!
Now that I have this new stamp I see a new blog header in my future.

I used Maile's tip about cutting 1/4inch off the width of this card to give it more of a long, lean appearance.  I like the effect it gives.

Hope you are having a great weekend!

I've added some great projects to the File...#78
I hope you find some time for yourself this weekend to create something beautiful!

Papertrey Ink July Blog Hop

Wednesday, July 25, 2012

On my background piece I used a SAF technique that Nichole showed us for creating a tie-dye effect.  After doing that, I stamped and heat embossed leaf images and spritzed with a sparkle spray!  Love the effect.  I covered most of it up, but it does add depth to the background that I really like.

Enjoy the Hop!

How great are these colors?
I really needed to make a card for my nephew for his 11th birthday.  Loved the colors, but not sure how he'd feel about pink!  I just added the smallest amount....can you see it?
I think it works and I doubt he'll notice it ;)

Have a super week.
 I hope you'll join us!

Make Your Own Embellishments

Sunday, July 22, 2012

At it again!  I should be getting ready to go to a Baptism, but I had to finish All of the challenges!!
For this last one, Homemade Embellishments, I decided to make one of Melissa's bows.  I loved the impressed butterfly die technique so much I used it again.

Ok, gotta go!
I look forward to checking out and commenting on your SAF projects tonight!

All products PTI except Recollections Resin Rose.

Goodnight

Saturday, July 21, 2012

Well, my craft room is certainly a mess after today.
Who am I kidding...I already cleaned it up!
I have to say I had a great time, but I have to throw in the towel.  I'm beat.  The last challenge, Homemade Embellishments, will have to wait until tomorrow.
Goodnight!

Card Set Challenge

Saturday, July 21, 2012

I chose to duplicate Jess's set because it is beautiful and truly quick and easy.  I loved embossing the butterfly.  After watching her video I saw the exact sandwich she used and tried it.  Worked perfectly for me!

All I did was change out one of the colors and the packaging.  I don't sew so I just needed to make it work for me.  Love the idea of including the stamps too.  And the stickers for the envelope closure......so cute:)

Almost at the end.  Are you tired?  I am.
I have had a lot of fun today.
