Watercolor Coffee

Wednesday, January 31, 2018

Hello! How are you?  I just received a WPlus9 package containing the new release products!  I can't wait to show you the new products, but I can't just yet.  Peeks will start in the next few days!

Until then I have this fun watercolor card to share with you.  Just some simple heat embossed images on watercolor paper.  I dropped in some color here and there using distress inks.  I let the colors dry a bit but then dapped up the rest because I wanted the colors to be quite light.

I used the Essentials By Ellen stamp set called Oh Frappe.  I also white embossed a few coffee beans on some vellum and tucked that behind the main panel.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Olive Who?

Sunday, January 28, 2018

Hello! Happy Sunday.  It's a rainy, dreary day here today.  I don't mind though.  Yesterday was warm{ish} and we spent most of the day outside with Piper.  Today is the perfect day to stay in, craft and bake.  I haven't baked in quite awhile.  I was detoxing from all of the holiday sweet treats, but I think today I'll bake something!

I made this cute, simple valentine the other day.  I love this adorable panda offering some heart shaped balloons.

I LOVE the sentiments in this WP9 Knock Knock Valentine set.

I really like this black Recollections cardstock from Michael's.  Its a dark black, 110lb. weight and inexpensive.  I used to love their white too, but for some reason now its actually grayish compared to older packs.  I liked being able to run out the store if I was getting low rather than paying and waiting for shipping.  Oh well, it was good while it lasted!  My favorite whites are Neenah Solar White, PTI Stamper's Select White or WP9 White Cardstock.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend.  Thanks for stopping by!

Proud Of You

Friday, January 12, 2018

Hello, It's Friday!  It was such a warm day today, but of course it rained!  That's OK, I'll take it because the temps are supposed to drop back down this weekend.

I made this card a few weeks ago and forgot to photograph it until tonight.  I made this card for my nephew who is still doing his Army training.  He was able to go home for Christmas and be with his family and we were able to FaceTime which was nice!

Again, I pulled out some old favorites.  Both of these sets are from PTI {Star Prints and Military Hero}and I even used my trusty old Fiskars star punch.  Not sure you can even get those anymore.  I did get rid of most of my punches, but this is one of the few that I kept.  I knew I'd use it again.

Do you still have any old punches?
Thanks so much for stopping by!  Have an awesome weekend!
