Transform Your Die Cuts

Hello! Welcome back.  Today I have another example of transforming those new WP9 Stuck On You dies into cute Band Aids.  In case you missed the first card you can check it out here...Cactus Band Aids

I wanted this design to look like the Band Aids are holding the two pieces of cardstock together.  Those adorable little hearts are from the Love Showers Layers die set.

It's funny because my favorite color is blue, but for some reason when stamping I am drawn to these pink inks.  I think it's because they are so vibrant!  I use this color combination a lot! Little Piggy, Sweet Gelato, V.I. Pink, and Cranberry Crush.

That little sentiment in the corner is from the set Get Well Gang.

Thanks so much for stopping by today.  I know we lost an hour of sleep this weekend in the US, but we've gained more daylight in the evening and to me, that's totally worth it!

Cactus Band Aids!

While editing yesterday's photos all I could see when I looked at those cacti were band aids!  With just a few snips I turned the cactus die cut from Stuck On You into a band aid!

After cutting the cactus, it just required a few details to really make it look authentic.  I used the tiny envelope die from EH Bitty Envelope Die and a tiny heart from the Love Showers Layers dies. I colored all of the die cuts with dye ink.  I adhered the bandaids on top of a panel that  had been cut with the large heart from Needle Point Hearts.  The white panel layered over the black panel allows a bit of black to show through the stitching holes.

A sentiment from the Get Well Gang stamp set finished the card!

Watercolor Coffee

Wednesday, January 31, 2018

Hello! How are you?  I just received a WPlus9 package containing the new release products!  I can't wait to show you the new products, but I can't just yet.  Peeks will start in the next few days!

Until then I have this fun watercolor card to share with you.  Just some simple heat embossed images on watercolor paper.  I dropped in some color here and there using distress inks.  I let the colors dry a bit but then dapped up the rest because I wanted the colors to be quite light.

I used the Essentials By Ellen stamp set called Oh Frappe.  I also white embossed a few coffee beans on some vellum and tucked that behind the main panel.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Totally Admire You

Friday, October 20, 2017

TGIF! Today I have a card to share that I created awhile ago and forgot to share.  I used the Altenew/Ellen Hutson collaboration called Poppy Fields.  It was part of the Ellen Hutson United We Flourish release.

I paired it with the awesome die from Essentials By Ellen called Totally Fabulous.  I love the way the die cut leaves the bottom of the letters intact.

I love these large poppies and how versatile they are.  You can stamp multiple steps as I've done here or just the outline and color them with your favorite medium.  I used copics on my first project.  You can check it out here.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
