Good Morning!

Fun, new colors from the ColourQ!
Again, I decided not to use these colors for a Halloween card.
I wanted to make a bright, birthday card!

The picture quality isn't that great because of Sandy!

WMS Sketch #121

I'm playing along, today, with the Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge.
I had a lot of fun with this berry set that a sweet online friend sent to me!  I added a little copic coloring to the stem and leaves and then cut the berry and leaves out to add some dimension.

Hope you are having a great day!

Friday Inspiration File #90

Saturday, October 27, 2012

Just a quick post to let you know that new items have been pinned to the File.  As always I pinned them Thursday night, but forgot to post a link here:)  Hope you have a great weekend.  If you are on the east coast, like me, stay safe this weekend.  I hope Sandy isn't too bad!  At the very least it will be very wet here, perfect for staying in and creating!

Papertrey Ink October Blog Hop

Thursday, October 25, 2012

This month's hop had so many great color combinations to choose from.  This one really grabbed me because I love these colors together and I think I've used just about every other combination on a Christmas card already this year.  I'd hoped to use more than one, but you know how that goes.  Too many other things going on.

Enjoy the hop!
Can't wait to stop by and see what you have created.

ColourQ #160

40 and fabulous!
That's what I want to be.  I recently had my 39th birthday.
My goal for this year is to get in shape so when 40 rolls around I am strong and healthy!

These are great new colors from the ColourQ.  Perfect for Halloween projects, but if you're like me all of your Halloween cards are mailed out.  I decided to create a birthday card instead.  I love how these flowers look in these colors.  Kind of reminds me of the 70's!

I hope you'll join us this week at the ColourQ
I'd love to see what you do with these colors!

10 Minute Craft Dash #5

Friday, October 19, 2012

I made this card in just over 9 minutes.  It would have taken less time except that I stamped my sentiment crooked!!  I had to stamp it on a white strip and adhere that over my mess up.

I love this challenge!
I was so excited to find that my card for the Craft Dash #4 was chosen as a favorite!
Thanks!

Don't forget to check out the Friday Inspiration File......#89!

Good Tidings

Monday, October 15, 2012

I had this border die cut left over from one of our 12 Kits of Christmas kits.  I loved it so much I was afraid to use it. Do you ever feel that way?  Especially since I don't own the die.  I had one chance to use it:) After I stamped these trees I knew I would have to create a snow drift or something and then I remembered I still had this!

Thanks for stopping by!
See you tomorrow for the new ColourQ!

Fall Festivals

Sunday, October 14, 2012

We hit two Fall Festivals in one day!  First we went to Haddonfield, NJ.  Such a great town.  I love Main Streets like this one.  Tree lined streets with Gingerbread houses.
 Love it.

We stopped at Ludovico's for coffee and hot chocolate.
Their cookie of the day looked delicious, s'mores!  I didn't get one.  I just looked:)

Haddonfield's festival was small so we walked around in two hours.  We decided to take a ride to Moorestown's festival too.  This festival was larger and also had a car show which made my honey very happy!

This was such a cool idea.
You could make your own custom silk scarf at their booth.  I loved watching it change as the customer added each new color.  I could have stood there all day, but for some reason Ryan wanted to keep walking;)

Hope you had a great weekend too!
