All Sweetness and Light

 

Picked up a few things recently.

 

 

I pulled my colors from this week's Tuesday's Trigger. 

I spritzed each color in a slightly different area of the stencil

and was not happy when the blue came out in drips.

I quickly changed my mind when I realized it would make the perfect ground 

for my sentiment and embellishments!

Yeah, I meant to do that ;)

Happy Easter {Grown With Love}

I have everything I need all ready to make my Easter dessert. 

 My version of Jessica's amazing cakes.  Later this morning I will be decorating the cakes and bringing them to my Mom's.  I'll take a picture and post it later.  I'm so excited to bring them over.  I know my mom will love them!

Felt iPhone Cover

 

A while ago I saw this felt phone cover.  

I've said before and I'll say again......I can't sew!  But I know someone who can ;)

My Mom! 

(The phone fits all the way down inside.  I just pulled it out a bit for the photo)

We sat down together and planned out the color scheme so that I knew how many and of what color to  make all of my die cuts.  Then I handed it all off to her.  Well yesterday she finished it.  Isn't it just gorgeous?  I love it.

Butterfly Box

This triangle box reminds me of my wedding planning days.  Looking for unique favors, I came across butterflies in boxes that can be released on your wedding day.  I opted not to use those even though I thought it would be beautiful. I felt bad for the butterflies! 

My original plan was to suspend the stamped, colored butterfly from the twine on the inside of the box.  However, when I tried that, the butterfly wasn't really visible through the glitter window.  Maybe next time instead of a glitter window I'll use clear cardstock and the butterfly would be more visible from the outside.

Seed Packet Bookplates

The Mat Stack #3 Die fits perfectly in the seed packet.  Along with a new book and a bookmark, a set of bookplates tucked inside makes a perfect little gift.  I still need to make the bookmark though:)

A Gift from Mom

My mom made these pretty eggs for me with her craft supplies. 

The pink one is my favorite. 

She (my dad) poked holes in real eggs and blew out the white and yolk. 

Here's another really cool project using real eggs that Elizabeth Kartchner posted last year.
