Make It Monday #7: Adding Color To Non-Neutral Cardstock

Tuesday, March 22, 2011

This week's MIM challenges us to color on something other than the neutrals we are used to.  I love this technique because it requires a lot less marker ink. It is also much easier to get a nice shaded effect than it is when starting with a stark white cardstock.

See You Later!

Carstock: PTI Ripe Avocado, Harvest Gold, Orange Zest, Spring Moss
Stamps: PTI Delightful Dahlia, Button Boutique, Studio Style
Ink: Memento Black
Other: Kaiser Kraft Stones, CB Embossing Folder, Corner Rounder Punch, Copics

  9. Kara, your card is really AWESOME (the flowers on the button card remind me of a seed packet, don't know if that's what you intended). I haven't even watched the video yet, better get to it if I'm gonna make something ;)
