Masculine Triangles

Saturday, August 16, 2014

Good Morning
Triangles are one of my favorite shapes, if not my favorite.
I feel like triangles really give you endless pattern options.

I masked my triangles by cutting masking paper into 1/4 inch strips and placing them 1 inch apart diagonally in both directions.  This creates diamond shapes.  I then placed strips of masking paper across the diamonds creating my triangles.
I stamped my border stamp lining it up with the diagonal line to make sure the stamping inside each triangle was straight instead of lining it up with edge the paper itself.

In an attempt to keep it simple and not cover up my background I arranged several sentiments and small images on my stamp press, stamped in embossing ink, and gold heat embossed them.
It's difficult to photograph head on, but in real life it is legible.
Perfect masculine birthday card for Ryan or his brother.  Both of them celebrate their birthdays on September 24th.  Weird I know, but my parents have the same birthday too so.....

Thanks for stopping by!
