PTI November Blog Hop and FIF#43

I love this month's blog hop inspiration photo.  I love that it's all red and white with a bit of greenery.  My card uses this color scheme as well as the scale of prints on the fabrics.  The chair and the pillow have the same pattern in different sizes.  I used PTI's BB Houndstooth to create the same effect on the words and the background.


I die cut the word holiday in red to layer with the stamped word like I saw Dawn do in one of her videos.  I love this effect and in this case it made the word easier to read.

    We were thinking alike with the houndstooth this time Kara, but those diecuts in houndstooth, beautiful and I love how you layered it with a solid diecut behind. Great idea. Really pretty card.

    I love everything about this card! From the saddle stitch ribbon (my favorite), to the gingham in two sizes, to the layered Holiday. Lovely!
