I love adding doodled or sketched lines to stamped images. It's a great way to entirely change the look of a stamp set and get more use out of it. This week's Make It Monday incorporates doodling and I wanted to participate. Below, I have linked a few of my past projects that include doodling.
I started with one of my favorite birthday sentiments. I love large sentiments like this that you can build a design around. I stamped the flower and leaf images and added my doodling. This same floral set takes on a whimsical look much different than when stamped alone, as on these cards.
Thanks so much for stopping by.
I'm home today for another snow day! C'mon spring! Clocks spring ahead this weekend don't they?
Longer days make me happy.
Cardstock: PTI White, WP9 Ballet Slippers
Stamps: PTI Stylish Sentiments Birthday, Daydreamer
Ink: WP9 Little Piggy, Mojito, Falling Star, Versafine Onyx

ReplyDeleteKara, your doodling cards are beautiful, and this one is perfection. You drew my attention to Daydreamer and now I feel I "need" it. I'm sure you are ready for Spring as we set our clocks forward.

ReplyDeleteSo, it is like you invented doodling and now finally the rest of us are trying to catch up. Love your design, and how you totally changed those flowers with your doodles. I have that set and did not recognize the flowers. Can't wait to doodle on mine just like you did.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous!
