Sending Sunshine {WPlus9 Release Day 2}

Welcome back for Day 2 of the WPlus9 February Release. 

 

 

Today's cards both feature a new stamp set called Sending Sunshine.  A cute little set with clouds, rain drops, a sun, and sweet little sentiments.  The set also includes this large 'sunshine' stamp.  For my first card I stamped the 'sunshine' stamp as well as a coordinating sentiment in the center of my panel that had been die cut using the large Sunshine Layers die.  After masking off the area beyond the stitching lines, I stamped this heart border from Bubble Talk in all the colors of The Storybook Collection of dye ink.  I embellished it using cloud and sun die cuts, also from the Sunshine Layers die set.  I die cut them in white to add detail, but not take attention away from the rainbow stamping.

While all of these supplies were out I decided to create another card.  This time I created my rainbow by stamping the word 'sunshine' in all of the new PURECOLOR Dye Ink colors being released this month {except for Fairy Dust, which is a beautiful soft gray}.
