WPlus9 February 2015 Release

Welcome to Day 1 of the newest WPlus9 release.  This month WP9 is releasing 5 new stamp sets, 4 new die sets, and a new PURECOLOR Dye Ink Collection called The Storybook Collection.  All new products will be available for purchase on February 5th.

 

 

 Today's card uses several stamp and die sets as well as ink from the new collection.  I started off by die cutting a white piece of cardstock using the Sunshine Layers Die Set.  This die set creates pretty frames, images, and card panels.  I then stamped my sentiment from Unforgettable in Versafine Black Onyx ink.  After the sentiment was in place, I could decide where I wanted to die cut the balloon from the Unforgettable Companion Die Collection.  I backed it with acetate to create my shaker.  I filled the shaker with adorable yellow star-shaped glitter.  Inside the balloon I stamped a little sentiment from the Bubble Talk stamp set. I colored the sweet elephant from Bubble Talk with my grey Copics and added her to the front of my card as if she is being 'carried away'.

The Storybook Collection inks have the best names!

 

I added some final details by die cutting clouds and a sun from the Sunshine Layers die collection and coloring them with a sponge dauber and Bo Peep and Falling Star ink.  I also added the cute little bow colored with Little Piggy.
