WPlus9 October 2014 Release

 

 Wow, Wow, Wow!

That's all I can say about this month's release.  Whether you love a classic or whimsical style, there is something here you're sure to love.  I used so many of the new stamps and dies for this winter woodland scene.

First, I die cut the stitched frame from Holiday Apertures.  I stamped some snowflakes from Snowflake Backdrops in Versamark ink and embossed them with clear embossing powder. Then, I added color to create a dark, snowy, night scene using distress inks. I layered that over another panel colored with the same colors of distress ink spritzed with a shimmer mist. 

 

 

Sandwiched between the two are snowy hills that I die cut using the new Landscape Border dies.  I nestled a few animals that were die cut and stamped using the Winter Woodland collection.  Snowflakes cut from the Snowflake Trio and the Merry Christmas sentiment from Hand Lettered Holiday finish the card...well almost.  I couldn't resist adding some clear Wink of Stella glitter to the animals and the merry sentiment.
