Colored Vellum Flowers

To create my background I sponged on my ink color using a stencil/mask.
I used Winter Wisteria ink.
I used it full strength in some of the hexagons and as the ink wore off the dauber, a light application in some of the other hexagons.  The full strength was too dark, so I used a dauber and some white ink to soften the color.
I also used the daubers to sponge color onto my vellum flowers and leaves.

Love my new daubers and case
One for every color!

  6. First of all, your card is beautiful! Fabulous job with the technique, those flowers look gorgeous!
Secondly, I love your daubers and case. Do you use these to ink your edges, too? I use the Tim Holtz blending tool, but struggle with the straight edge sometimes.... Maybe these would work better for me? And where did you get them and that wonderful case?
