I used Smokey Shadow card stock for the first time. I love how white ink looks stamped onto it, so striking.
My mom came over yesterday and we spent the day stamping, coloring, and making cards. When my dad came to pick my mom up, Ryan cooked dinner for us. It was delicious! It was a fun day.
Such a pretty card. I love how you used the color palette to make flowers work for a masculine card. Hmmm....something I need to remember.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing!
Kara, that is an asbolutely beautiful card...and like Deb, I'm impressed how you made it work for your husband. We guys appreciate small things like that. ;) Oh...and nachos and brownies. We appreciate those as well.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card... I love smokey shadow too!
ReplyDeleteHow cool that you and your mom stamp together! You know, I have a big pack of Smokey Sharow that has never been opened. Love what you have done with it - looks so elegant in this color scheme.
ReplyDeleteVery neat card! I would have never thought to color a flower in gray tones, but it's gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteWhat a neat card! Wouldn't have thought to use In Bloom flowers with grey, but it works really great for a guy card. Love all the details you added too.
ReplyDeleteThis is just stunning!!
ReplyDeleteYour flower on this card is just gorgeous! I love it!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card Kara! I just got the Smokey Shadow too, but have not as yet used it. Thanks for the inspiration.
