Smitten {200 Weeks Of Inspiration}

 

 Today I have a card inspired by Laurie {Soapbox Creations}.  I love the simplicity of her card.  All of that white space with a tiny pop of red.  To add interest to the white space, I die cut the WP9 XOXO border about 10 times.  I adhered them all to another piece of white cardstock then die cut the whole thing with the largest stitched rectangle from SSS to mimic her machine stitching.

 

 

I stamped a sentiment from WP9 Unconditionally on a Conversation Bubble and added a tiny red heart from SSS holiday shapes die.

To Infinity {200 Weeks Of Inspiration}

 

With so many boys in my life, I can never have too many cards like this.  My design is inspired by a holiday card that Yana {Cardmaking & Scrapbooking} created.  Again, her card was a one layer and I just had to pop my panel up. What can I say? ;)

I placed my images in a similar pattern using several shades of one color like Yana did.

  

 

This card, like one yesterday, has a dark card base and needed to be lined.  I was able {and I remembered} to stamp a few coordinating images and sentiment on the inside as well.

Without You {200 Weeks of Inspiration}

 

 Happy Monday morning!   It's back to work for me after a nice, long, winter break.  Ryan was off for awhile too! It was so nice to have time off together.  That almost never happens.

Today's cards are inspired by a beautiful card stamped by Katie Gehring {Stamping Lightly}. 

 

 

I created my sentiment with the WPlus9 Monogrammed Alphabet and  Hand Lettered Thanks.  I started both cards by stamping the sentiments first.  I then built around it with my images using colors similar to the ones Katie used.

 

 

 I love to finish off the inside of cards.  I don't do it as often as I should, but when the card base is dark I like to line it and then I remember to add a little something special on the inside too.

 

 

My second card was created the same way, but die cut with a smaller stitched rectangle and accented with a different color.

Hey Love {200 Weeks of Inspiration}

 

 Today I am continuing to challenge myself with the challenge I've given to you; create a card inspired by one of the projects in the Friday Inspiration File. This first card is inspired by Melinda {The Scrap Farm}.  Usually I'm pinning her beautiful scrapbook pages, but occasionally she makes cards too and when she does...I just love them!

 

 And I have to admit, I love how this card turned out! Those hearts...........

On to the next card.

 

 

  This time my card design is inspired by Archana {Handmade Cards by Archana}.  I chose to incorporate the cupcake, the hearts, the colored border at the bottom, and place all of my stamped elements in the bottom right corner like Archana did.

Dreams {200 Weeks of Inspiration}

 

 So, have you chosen a project from the Friday Inspiration File yet for the 200 Weeks Of Inspiration Challenge?

Today I chose a card by Laura {Doublestick Heaven}, that I pinned  a few weeks ago, to inspire my designs.  I used similar colors and a large focal sentiment surrounded by flowers. Her card was a one layer card.  I tired, but couldn't resist adding some layers.

 

 

 

I decided to create a second version and join in with this week's Make It Monday.  This week is "A La Carte", meaning we could choose a previous week's technique.  I chose to do the Stamped Border.

 

 

I've used the same colors and stamps for this card, but added the beautiful WPlus9 Butterfly Frame.

200 Weeks Of Inspiration {Challenge & Giveaway}

Today marks the 200th week of the Friday Inspiration File. I have been sharing my favorite projects for almost 4 years.   I love visiting your blogs week after week and I'm never disappointed.  You all have so much talent.  I want everyone to know how great you are!
