Saturday, May 28, 2016

Hi! I'm on the WPlus9 Blog today sharing another fun marbling medium: Spray Mists! Check that out {HERE}
 I've tried many mediums for this fun technique.  I love that each piece is so unique.  Check out the rest of my Marbling Series where I've used copic refills, chalk pastels, nail polish, and dye ink refills.

Happy Everything

Happy Friday Friends!
I recently placed an order for a few new products that I have had my eye on.  I've combined a lot of them on this card for my friend, Trish.  The beautiful Altenew Daisy set is easy to use and creates beautiful results.  Here I have stamped them in Sweet Blush, Hibiscus Burst, and Raspberry Fizz.  The leaves are stamped with Limeade Ice, Simply Chartreuse, and New Leaf. {All PTI Inks} Trish's name and the butterflies are stamped with Dark Chocolate ink.  I love these awesome sentiments from the Reverse Confetti Butterfly Dreams set because when stamped over other images, the color shows through the letters. So cool!
The beautiful letter stamps are a set called Sophisticated Script by Concord and 9th.  I've been in love with them since I first saw them!

Inspired by All The Little Things Guest Designer

Saturday, May 14, 2016

Hello! Today I'm guest designing for Inspired By All The Little Things challenge blog!  It's a fun challenge based on an inspiration photo.  I was able to choose my own inspiration photo and I chose this awesome triangular felt wall posted on Dwell.  I chose to pull out this geometric WPlus9 set called Twenty Fifteen.  It's designed as a 2015 New Year's set, but it's so much more!

I created three patterns the same way and in the same color scheme, but each uses a different sized triangle from the set.  I treated each stamped panel differently when designing the cards.  For the design I'm sharing here, I die cut the panel with the large stitched rectangle die from the SSS Stitched Rectangle die set.  I die cut the center of the stamped panel with a stitched rectangle that was 2 sizes smaller.  I layered the middle sized die cut in between so that the stamped pattern lines up when all layered up.

Visit Inspired By All The Little Things to full card above.

I pulled the colors from the inspiration photo and stamped them in Wild Mango, Pumpkin Spice, Silver Lining, Fairy Dust, and Black PURE Color Dye Ink.  I stamped the colors in a random pattern and opted to leave some spaces open.

Visit the WPlus9 Blog to see project below.

I finished off each card with a different die cut stacked sentiment from WP9 Sending Hoping Wishing set.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  I hope you'll visit the WPlus9 Blog to check out my project and Inspired By All The Little Things Challenge Blog to play along!
