Stamp A Faire Challenge #10

Monday, July 25, 2011

I stamped the light green stripes on the half and half die.  Then I stamped the red poinsettias and dark green leaves over top.

When Erin asked if any of us were thinking about our Christmas/Holiday cards yet, I thought, "No way!"  It's summer. I love summer and don't want to think about the cold weather yet.  After listening to some responses on the podcast I started to change my mind.  How nice would it be not to scramble in November to get  my cards done?  That was it, this year I'm starting early!
Christmas card number one...check!

Stamp A Faire Challenge #9

Saturday, July 23, 2011

Well it has been a fun, crafty day!!  I think this will be my last entry for the day because I have totally lost my light!  This challenge was to use a stamp in a different way than intended.  I used the grass stamp from Peaceful garden right side up and up side down to create a pattern strip for my card.

Thanks for visiting me so many times today and leaving such amazing comments!

Stamp A Faire Challenge #8

Saturday, July 23, 2011

I decided to add a long sentiment to the extra inch.  Nichole's card was so serene I wanted to create something that captured the feeling of her card as well!

Whew!! A lot of cards in one day.  I'm having a great time!
How are you doing? Are you keeping up?

Stamp A Faire Challenge #7

Saturday, July 23, 2011

I used stars from a few sets to create a unique look.  My favorite part of this card is the sentiment piece.  I first die cut the Spring Moss cardstock with the Notebook die then cut it again with one of the Half and Half dies.  Love it:)

Stamp A Faire couldn't have fallen on a better day.  It's so hot outside that there's no reason to go outside.  I'm having a great time stuck in the house today!!
