Altenew Build-A-Flower Peruvian Lily + Giveaway

Sunday, July 1, 2018

Hello! I'm so excited that Altenew has invited me to share with you the newest addition to their Build-A-Flower range of stamps.  This is the Peruvian Lily!  It is a stunning, easy to use stamp set with such gorgeous results.

The Build-A-Flower: Peruvian Lily set includes 1 6x8 stamp set (14 stamp images) and 1 coordinating die set (2 dies).

The Peruvian Lily, also known as Alstroemeria, blooms in a variety of colors and is native to South America. Some petals are flecked with darker shades, resulting in a distinctive and beautiful look. This stamp set includes a realistic and incredibly detailed Peruvian lily, designed to be stamped in contrasting or coordinating colors. A lovely leaf and painted sentiment finish off the set.

This special product is only sold as a set, not individually.

The color combinations you can come up with are endless and so much fun to experiment with.  Altenew has created a bundle that includes the new stamp/die set as well as some suggested ink colors. When purchased together in this bundle you get them at a discounted price.

Concord and 9th Wreath Turnabout and You're My Happy

Welcome back for my final Feature Friday with Concord and 9th.  This is probably my favorite bundle of the release! This Turnabout Wreath stamp set contains two beautiful wreath building stamp styles as well as some beautiful sentiments with two font styles.  They are very different, but compliment each other so well.

For all of my cards today I started by drawing two intersecting lines on my white card panel.  This helped me to line up my stamp each time I rotated it and stamped a new color.  I chose to use Papertrey Ink Dye Inks for two reasons.  They have a huge selection of colors and they clean up so easily when switching between colors.  There is very little to no contamination of colors.

For the 'You're A Delight' cards I simply stamped the sentiment in the center of the wreath with black ink.  For the 'You're My Happy' and 'I Just Adore You' I die cut and inlaid black cardstock.  Both sentiment dies are included in the You're My Happy die set.

I hope you have enjoyed Feature Friday for the April Release.  Don't forget to check out Nikki and Micaela.  Thanks to Concord and 9th for inviting me to join them this month!

Concord and 9th Triple-Step Hooray

Friday, April 27, 2018

Hello! Welcome back for another Concord and 9th Feature Friday post.  This week we are sharing a look at the Triple-Step Hooray stamp set and the Confetti Card Die.

I just love this stamp set because it is perfect for boys and I have a ton of boys in my life, including 5 nephews.  It's also just a really cool set.  It's a triple-step design so you can really customize the colors!  The stamps themselves have registration arrows that help you line up the stamps perfectly with the previous step.

I also used the new Confetti Card Die on this one.  It a three layer die set.  You can use them all together or just one at a time.  I used just one of the layers on today's card and I used the pinked edge layer on my Painted Rose card last week.

It would be fun to save all of those confetti die cut pieces and make a confetti shaker card!

Thanks so much for stopping by today.  Check out what the other guest designers have created:  Niki and Micaela  See you next week for our final Feature Friday post.  It's one of my favorites!
