Smokey Shadow

Sunday, February 28, 2010

I used Smokey Shadow card stock for the first time. I love how white ink looks stamped onto it, so striking.

My mom came over yesterday and we spent the day stamping, coloring, and making cards. When my dad came to pick my mom up, Ryan cooked dinner for us. It was delicious! It was a fun day.

Today & Everyday

Friday, February 26, 2010

Today's card uses Tin Types, In Bloom, and a sentiment from Autumn Abundance.
Hope you are having a great weekend!

Let's Get Together

Friday, February 26, 2010

Another snow day today. I wish my mom could come over and craft with me, but the weather is too dangerous for driving around if you don't have to.

What Would I Do Without You?

Thursday, February 25, 2010

I used Tin Types and the Butterflies to create a unique patterned paper. The sentiment is from Friends 'Til The End.

Beautiful spring butterflies on this cold, snowy day.
It seems like spring will never come.

Thanks For Everything

I love this new set from Papertrey Ink. It's a great new concept, too. A Year of Flowers, a new flower will be released each month.

Come play along with some challenges today! Click images to link to challenges.

Ready For Spring

Monday, February 15, 2010

I'm ready to emerge. I admit, I have enjoyed this time off due to the snow. Staying in, drinking hot coffee, having time for projects, watching movies, has all been fun. Now, I'm ready to be warm! I want to want to go outside, not just have to. I want to go to the park, ride my bike, and bbq with friends!

Valentine Garland

Sunday, February 14, 2010

Just a simple heart garland made from 4 punched hearts.
Happy Valentine's Day!

Make Your Own Embellishments

Saturday, February 13, 2010

Another fun challenge and giveaway from Papertrey Ink. The anniversary festivities are coming to a head this weekend with the release of new stamp sets and products. Today's challenge was to make your own floral embellishments and a card using some of those embellishments.

I used stamps and rub ons from Autumn Leaves.

Thanks for coming by today!

Origami Stars

Friday, February 12, 2010

I've wanted to make these little stars since I saw this wreath on Talk Of The Town blog a LONG time ago. I made quite a few and then airbrushed them different shades of pink. I ended up only using a few, but maybe I'll make a gift box to go along with the card.

Have a great weekend!

All Boxed Up

Thursday, February 11, 2010

I'm home for my 2nd snow day this week:) A few days off has given me enough time to make a bigger project than I usually have time for these days. I decided to make this set of "Thank You" cards as a gift for my cousin. Her bridal shower is next weekend and I thought this would be a nice wishing well gift instead of another set of measuring cups! I got 4 sets at my bridal shower. I was giving those things away!

There are six cards in all. 2 of each style.

I packaged them all up in a template from PaperTrey Ink.
