Festive Lights

Friday, November 24, 2017

Hello! I hope you all {who celebrate} had a wonderful Thanksgiving yesterday.  We did! It was low key with a warm fire, good food, and a huge Christmas puzzle.

Today I have one final design created with the color scheme I have really loved for Christmas this year: Red, Pink, and two shades of Green  This time I have used the  Festive Greetings stamp set from WP9.  A little simple stamping and a coat of shimmer!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Holiday Cheer {Matching Card and Gift Tags}

Monday, November 20, 2017

Hey! Back again with some one layer cards.  I'm finally doing it, keeping these holiday cards easy to  mail.  These were so easy to make as well.  I used WP9 Folk Art Flurries and stamped an all over pattern in the same color scheme as this Be Merry card and tags.  Love these colors!

I added a sentiment from the Christmas Greetings stamp set and a few clear gemstones to finish off this simple design.

Be Merry {Matching Card and Gift Tags}

Saturday, November 18, 2017

This year my number one goal with Christmas cards is... easy to mail!!  I say this every year, but this year I mean it.  This is one of the designs I created using this color scheme.  While there are many die cuts on this card it is still quite flat compared to what I normally make.

With each design I created {I'll share the others in another post} I made coordinating gift tags.  Chances are the card and tags will go to different recipients, but while the supplies are out I might as well take advantage and kill two birds with one stone.

I used two WPlus9 sets here: Be Merry and Be Merry Florals.  I used several PTI dye inks in shades of green, pink and red. {Sweet Blush, Pure Poppy, Spring Moss, Simply Chartreuse and Ripe Avocado}

I love this WP9 Christmas Tag die.  It's the perfect size and shape and with the stitching around the edge you can't go wrong!

Merry & Bright

Saturday, November 11, 2017

Hello!  I always love those retro glass ornaments you find in antique shops.  They are often in shades of pink and blue.  I thought I'd try to create that look with the Holiday Trimmings set from WP9.  I used Lake House and Shell Pink dye ink.  I lined up the trio of ornaments on a die cut oval from Basic Labels Dies.  The card is accented with all of the little accessory stamps included in the set.

How beautiful are the sentiments in this set? I love the script font and the coordinating dies.

In My Thoughts

Thursday, November 9, 2017

Good morning guys!  Recently I needed to send a sympathy card to friends. Since these are not the most fun cards to make nor do we anticipate needing one, I never have one in my stash.

I think that something simple and floral is always appropriate.  I chose to use the Rose Builder set from WP9.  I always seem to get carried away with a little layering, but I think it's still simple enough.

Thanks for dropping by! Have a great day.
