Merry & Bright

Saturday, November 11, 2017

Hello!  I always love those retro glass ornaments you find in antique shops.  They are often in shades of pink and blue.  I thought I'd try to create that look with the Holiday Trimmings set from WP9.  I used Lake House and Shell Pink dye ink.  I lined up the trio of ornaments on a die cut oval from Basic Labels Dies.  The card is accented with all of the little accessory stamps included in the set.

How beautiful are the sentiments in this set? I love the script font and the coordinating dies.

WPlus9 Rose Builder

Friday, October 6, 2017

TGIF! Today I'm sharing a look at the new Rose Builder set from WPlus9.  It's a beautiful multi-step floral set with a mix of rose sizes and single/groupings of leaves.  WP9 does also offer a coordinating die set.

I love the look of these flowers paired with a black geometric image.  I didn't realize when I created this card that WP9 had discontinued the triangle set called Twenty Fifteen.  Luckily Ellen Hutson still has some in stock.  I've linked it below if you want that set.  I love it!

If you'd like to read a little more about how I created these cards hop on over and read the original post on the WPlus9 Design Blog.  Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a great weekend and enjoy World Card Making Day tomorrow!  Do you have any crafty plans for the big day?

WPlus9 Christmas Rose Bouquet

Tuesday, October 3, 2017

Hello! I have another new WPlus9 set to share with you today.  This one is called Christmas Rose Bouquet.  The main image in the set is a large floral spray.  There are a few extra leaves and flower images to add to the bouquet.

I stamped and die cut the large image 3 times as well as a few extras.  I colored the flowers and leaves with Copic markers.  I then die cut the colored bouquets again with a stitched rectangle die, cutting the die cuts down and creating a corner.  I positioned them all on top of each other and adhered them with dimensional adhesive.  I tucked in the extra flowers and leaves and then placed the whole thing on top of a card panel that was stamped with the bouquet image.  I left this one uncolored.  I added a sentiment on top from the new Holiday Trimmings set.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! Have you picked up anything from the new release?

A Little Garden In My Heart

Saturday, September 30, 2017

 Happy Saturday Guys! I'm taking a little break from house cleaning to have a cup of coffee.  I thought while I was sitting down I'd take a minute to share this adorable new WPlus9 set called The Crew: Garden Club.  It includes tons of accessories for creating scenes just like the new School Days set.  You can totally mix and match images from these sets.  This one, as the name suggests, focuses on gardening and the sentiments are just lovely!

I had so much fun coloring these terracotta pots {E08, E09, E19}.  I also added stripes to her shirt to make her a little more stylish {and to avoid having to choose a color for it!}

 Everything got a generous coat of glitter from my Wink Of Stella glitter pen as is the norm right now.  Can't. Stop. :)

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  Back to cleaning....
