And Many More

Monday, May 28, 2018

 I love how quick and easy it is to create a fun birthday card using the new WPlus9 set called And Many More.  It works perfectly with the new Happy Birthday Die.  This one would be great for anyone celebrating a birthday, but particularly for a male recipient.

I stamped the confetti circles in bright, primary colors {Pure Poppy and Summer Sunrise} and used the same ink to color the birthday die cut.

And Many More is one of those sets that you might not immediately realize you need because it doesn't have the flashy images that grab you, but once you start using it you realize it's an extremely versatile set with many must have sentiments and accents that can be used on so many cards, not just on birthday cards!

Hello! I'm here on this Monday morning with a bright floral card featuring PTI Gran's Garden stamp set.  As I type this it's cold and rainy, but I know spring is on it's way!  A few weeks and the clocks change and not long after that, the first day of spring.  The thought made me so happy I couldn't help pulling out this stamp set and some sunny yellows.

I used WP9 Queen Bee, Lime Light and Falling Star inks.  Queen Bee and Lime Light are brand new colors and they are perfect for spring.  If you haven't tried WP9 inks you should.  The ink pads are so saturated that they stamp beautifully and are perfect for coloring cardstock {as you've probably heard me mention a few hundred times}

I stamped my pattern by first stamping the large yellow bloom and then masking it off.  While the flower was masked I stamped all of the greenery.  I then chose another placement for the flower so that I would have enough room around it for the greenery not to interfere with other stamped images.  I worked my way around the panel like this until it was totally covered.  One section of the panel ended up with not much of the yellow flower.  I thought this was the perfect 'accident' because it provided a less cluttered area to stamp my sentiment from PTI Offbeat Birthday stamp set SSS Stitched Rectangle Die

Thanks so much for stopping by today! Are you like me, ready for SPRING???

ASL Love

Friday, February 2, 2018

Hello! TGIF!  I just added a ton of beautiful projects to the Friday Inspiration File Week #348.  Check them out.

I ordered this amazing ASL Love set by Altenew and it came just in time for me to make a birthday card for the student I interpret for.  Her favorite color is teal so I chose this trio of inks by PTI.  They are linked below.

For the stamped background I alternated the three colors for each letter in her name stamped over and over again.  I layered on top a panel with her name and the Happy Birthday sentiment.  A little "ILY" hand on the back is the finishing touch.

I gave her the card today and she was thrilled to see the ASL Alphabet on there!  Have an awesome weekend!

'Tis The Season {The Stamp Market}

Saturday, October 21, 2017

Good Morning!  Have you heard of The Stamp Market?  It's a brand new stamp company that opened early this year.  I hadn't heard of them until a few weeks ago when I stumbled across a beautiful photo on Instagram.  I then featured them in my Friday Inspiration File on Pinterest Week 332.

I was thrilled when they invited me to create a few projects for their blog!  The quality  of the stamps and dies is awesome! It's right up there with what we have come to expect from all our favorite stamp companies. The stamps arrived beautifully packaged.  I even used some of the packaging on one of my projects.  I'll share that later, but if you can't wait, head on over to The Stamp Market Blog now and check it out!

This first card features an adorable set called Tiny Trees.  It's a small set with so many possibilities.  The stamps can be layered up to create many different kinds of trees.  I chose to start with the solid triangle tree, of course.  You guys know how much I love triangles.  I used two colors of pink and overlapped some of the triangles.  A few of the triangles are embossed with gold embossing powder.  I added the trunk and branches to just a few of the trees and embossed them as well.  The set includes a 'Tis the Season sentiment that I stamped several times on the card panel.

 The main sentiment is created with the Joy die cut from the Ornament Die that coordinates with the Ornament Builder stamp set.  I 've die cut it several times from white cardstock, layered it up, and embossed the top.

I have more projects to share over the weekend featuring The Stamp Market stamps and dies!
Thanks for stopping by today.  Hope to see you again soon!

STAMPtember Continues

Thursday, September 21, 2017

Hey guys! Just wanted to stop in and share another card featuring the new STAMPtember release of Humble And Kind designed by WPlus9.  This time I colored the images with Copics.  I kept the design pretty simple, but those deep purples are just so gorgeous!

Hope you like it! Thanks so much for stopping by today!
