Pocketful Of Florals

Tuesday, May 3, 2016

Hey! I haven't been blogging much lately.  I haven't had the time to craft, let alone blog.  I have been focused on other things in my life that take up a lot of my extra time, like home renovations.  We are currently working on a bathroom.  I can't wait until it's finished!

This card came together very quickly and easily.  I had all of these WPlus9 Freehand Floral pieces stamped out and sitting in a little bowl on my desk.  I stamped the black stitching lines on the pocket  and part of the sentiment.  The sentiment is from a set by PTI called Graceful Greetings.  I stamped the 'thinking of you' again on the card front and matched them up before adhering with foam dots.  Then it was a matter of just arranging my flowers.

WPlus9's A Pocketful {linked below} is an older set that I still love.  I've used it so many times from Christmas to Halloween from Wedding to Kids!  One of these was published in Papercrafts Magazine and another is my 4th most viewed post of all time!

Hope you have a great day!

  1. This is just so cute, Kara! I think I'll be adding this pocket set to my wishlist - it's so charming with the posies in it! We are just about to finish remodelling our kitchen - I am SO tired of doing my dishes in the bathroom sink! But it will be so worth it when we can enjoy the finished product. Hang in there!

  2. All I can think of is "catch a falling star, and put it in your pocket ... save it for a rainy day!" A song my parents loved... I LOve your card, and every other one where this pocket appears, Kara! xx

Home renovation is so much joy! Maybe not the process, but definitely the result. It's a good excuse to put crafting on hold ;)
