Make It Monday #30: Colored Pencils

Thursday, September 1, 2011

This is my second card for this week's Make It Monday, using colored pencils to color your stamped images.

After stamping the flower and embossing it with white powder I colored each section with a white colored pencil.  To smooth out the color and remove any pencil lines I used odorless mineral spirits and a blending stick.

Have a great day!

Cardstock: PTI Ocean Tides, Kraft
Stamps: PTI In Bloom
Ink: Color Box Frost White, Versamark
Other: White Embossing Powder, Satin Ribbon, Prismacolor White Colored Pencil, Odorless Mineral Spirits

  2. Wow Kara this is so beautiful. I've never tried an all white flower with pencils before. This has to go on my "to try" list.
