Welcome back for Day 2 of the WPlus9 Release!
Today I am sharing cards using the new Watercolored Anemone set as well as a few other stamps and dies being released.
I love this beautiful new floral set. The flowers and leaves are multi-step stamps. Dawn has included lines around certain images indicating which stamps layer together to create the final image. But even if you don't get them quite right, they still look beautiful!
WPlus9 Supplies
Stamps: Watercolored Anemones, Greetings and Salutations // Dies: Watercolored Anemones Companion Dies, Flower Doodle Dies, Sunshine Layers Die, Love Mom Layers Die // Dye Ink: Black, Mojito, Appletini, Little Piggy, Sweet Gelato, Flamingo // Cardstock: White, Black
For this first card I have layered the stamped flowers with an image from the new set, Greetings and Salutations. I have popped just a few areas of the image to add interest and dimension. The sentiments and the Flower Doodle smile die cut have been colored using the new Black PURE Color Dye Ink. It's a fabulous, rich black color perfect for sentiments and solid images!
I have used the new black ink on this card too. The floral images are stamped first in Fairy Dust Dye Ink, then Silver Lining Dye Ink, and the final step is stamped in Black Dye Ink. The sentiment is from a new set called Doodle Buds. This set has the most beautiful font and awesome doodle images. I will be sharing more with this set on another day! I wasn't kidding when I said the Love Mom Layers Die and The Sunshine Layers Die are never far from my desk. I use them so much. They add the finishing touch to every card.

For my final card, I stamped the first step of Watercolored Anemones on black cardstock with white pigment ink. I stamped the second step in Silver Lining, and the third with the new Black ink. I then stamped the sentiment from Greeting and Salutations in white pigment ink. I added clear embossing powder over the whole thing and heat set it. I accented it with a butterfly die cut from the Small Butterfly Frame Die. I think it looks cool stamped on black cardstock!
