Hope Your Day Is Awesome

Hi! It's been quite hectic here this past week.  My mom has been in the hospital with pneumonia.  The hospital that her doctors use is an hour from my house so it's quite a haul.  My dad has also been sick with bronchitis so it has been rather stressful.  I had a few quiet moments yesterday and felt like coloring.  These Paper Smooches flowers are perfect and a lot of fun to color.

I die cut the white panel with the largest SSS Stitched Rectangle die.  Then I die cut the dotted line several times about an inch apart.  I masked off each panel and then stamped my flowers.  I colored the flowers with Copics and added just a few white details with a gel pen.

Thanks for stopping by and Merry Christmas to all those who celebrate!

  1. Coloring is great therapy! So sorry to hear about your parent's health, and the hospital being an hour away just doesn't help. Not exactly what you expected for Christmas I imagine. Great card, Kara, I love the masked panels, wonderful idea.
