Peace & Joy

Good Sunday Morning!
I made this card on Monday; the day Hurricane Sandy hit.
I had ordered them through a friend and she sent them to me.  Believe it or not the mailman delivered them on Monday during the hurricane!  I was so shocked to hear what I thought was the mailbox lid close.  I thought, "No way.." but, it was him.  I guess it's true what they say, "And neither snow, nor rain, nor heat, nor gloom of night, nor the winds of change, nor a nation challenged, will stay us from the swift completion of our appointed rounds."

I was certainly happy to receive them as I knew I would be spending many days indoors.
I made this using the Make It Monday technique shown here.
This one is perfect for my brother and his family for Christmas.
They love nature and being outdoors.

Now that the power is back on it's time to catch up on all of the laundry.
It's OK though, in between loads I'll be upstairs in my craft room working on cards for the new Make It Monday, the 10 Minute Craft Dash Challenge, and the November Cloud9 Blog Hop!
