Papertrey Ink November Blog Hop

Sunday, November 25, 2012

Today is the 25th.  On the 25th of every month PTI has a blog hop.  This month's hop is centered on book cover art as inspiration.  PTI provided some inspiration or you could find your own.  I did a google image search for book cover design and found this book cover.

To make sure my design came out straight, I drew one vertical pencil line and one horizontal.  Starting on those lines made sure my first stamped images were straight and that those lined up after would also be straight.

It's difficult to see  in the photo, but like the book cover I stamped some white text underneath the main title or sentiment.

I can't wait to see your cards and what book covers inspired you!

Cardstock: PTI Kraft, Fine Linen
Stamps: PTI Happy Harlequin, Big Birthday Wishes

  26. Kara,
I love your card, I had to check what supplies you used for the blocks, here I am wondering "where did she get the great sq. block to make this card"? Well, it was a lovely surprise to see you used Happy Harlequin for your design!! Truly wonderful card.
