Papertrey Ink May Blog Hop

I have to work today so I won't be around to see what you have made until tonight.  I'm looking forward to it!
I made 2 cards this time.  The first one has been one of those 'ideas to try' that rolls around in your mind until you finally do it.  That is, to use the block alphabet dies with the postage stamp die. Kind of like the LOVE free download from the anniversary celebration.
Remember that?

This second card I made out of stamped background strips that didn't end up on the original card.  I stamped the peonies onto the patterns.  It's busy, but I like it anyway:)

Thanks for stopping by!
I'll come by and see you later:)

  6. I love the way you created 'dad' using the various die cuts. It's such a creative way to highlight the sentiment. The peony card is very dramatic with the background stamping pattterns in black and white! Great inspiration!

  26. Kara, I love both these cards. The first is so clean and I love how the letters were cut out of the stamp shapes. The second one has amazed me with the wonderful way you've combined those background stamps so effectively over the top of the flowers. The flowers and bow soften it beautifully, too. Wow! Great work!
