Make It Monday #66 {Rolled Flowers}

I assumed that most of you knew I was a sign language interpreter.  I guess I was wrong:)  I have been an interpreter in the school system for about 15 years.  The last 3 years I have been interpreting for a girl who is now in 6th grade.  She is a great kid and endless inspiration, from the patterns on her clothes to the color combinations she puts together.  This card is inspired by the pattern on her backpack.  I loved the colors on her bag too and have used the same ones on my card!

Since she inspired the design I decided to use a sentiment to inspire her.

Thanks for stopping by!

Cardstock: PTI White
Stamps: PTI Simply You, Garden of Life, Wplus9 The Birds and The Bees

What a stunning background!!
The colors are gorgeous...
and the card is too...
as always! :)
You have no idea how much I admire you for what you do every day.
Having a special needs child myself...
I don't know what we would do without her incredible teachers and aides...
but I do know that the rewards are not measured in dollars...
but in steps.
Steps taken and achieved...
obstacles overcome...
and the smile that lights up their face when they reach a goal!

Love this inspired background! I knew, and remembered because I have an aunt my age who does the same thing as you, In Wisconsin.

What a wonderful career you have. I didn't realize that you were an interpreter. I love your inspiring card! Adore the beautiful colors and design--reminds me of how long it has been since I have gotten Garden of Life out! There are so many older sets that sometimes get forgotten.
