Make It Monday #20: Reverse Masking

This week's MIM is Reverse Masking.  I die cut mat stack 5 from a piece of lightweight computer paper.  I used repositionable adhesive to keep my mask in place.  Each time I placed the mask I rubbed white ink onto the exposed area to define the shape.  Then I stamped the stem and flower images over the light, white ink.  I wanted the background to be the star, but it still needed something more.  I just added a simple bow and hanging heart.

See you tomorrow!

Cardstock: PTI Kraft, Ripe Avocado
Stamps: PTI Botanical Silhouettes, Tint Tags
Ink: PTI Ripe Avocado, Color Box Fresh Snow
Other: Mat Stack Die, Tiny Tags Die, Twine, Spring Moss Ribbon and Button
