DIY Doodle Flowers

Sunday, June 14, 2015

I wanted to create my own doodle flowers using some basic shaped stamps and pens.  I used the solid circle stamp from Greeting and Salutations.  I wanted to add in a larger solid circle, but I didn't have the size I wanted.  I decided to use the back of the large circle in the Papel Picado stamp set.  Perfect!

I stamped my circles in Falling Star, Wild Mango, Sweet Nectar, Little Piggy, and Sweet Gelato. Then, using a black liner pen, I added my doodles.  I added a simple Hello sentiment stamped in Black dye ink.

I can't wait to do more of this!

Thanks so much for stopping by.  I hope you enjoy the rest of your Sunday!
I've got a little baking to do.

  8. Great idea to create your own doodles! I took a one day tangling class and thought of all the ways that concept could be used with cards. Love your colors and cheery design!
