Wild About Washi Tape

Wednesday, January 16, 2013

The truth is I'm not really.....wild about it that is.
Don't get me wrong, I love the look, but I know me by now.  If I bought a roll I'd use it once or twice and that's it. I would never use a whole roll.  Just like I'd never use a whole pack of one color button so I always buy the combo packs.  Anyway, back to washi tape.
A friend (wink, wink) sent me a roll of washi tape to play with.

One of the cool things about washi tape is its translucency.  I adhered it to an acetate sheet and then die cut it to preserve that quality.

  1. I'm with you on washi tape Kara. I have a few rolls of it but use it more to make sure that my dies don't move when I'm cutting them. Fabulous idea to apply the acetate behind it. your card is perfect!

  7. I can honestly say that I do love Washi tape. I have a growing collection, and I really do use it! Great idea to pair it with the acetate. Also, I never thought about that sentiment for Valentines Day, but it is perfect.
