Yesterday Jennifer posted a video showing a
Wood Veneer Letterpress technique I just had to try!
I'm not a huge fan of pigment inks, which are necessary for this technique, but I did have one pad that I didn't get rid of. I tried using distress inks and distress paints. Both worked, but Jennifer's right, pigment works best.
In her video, Jennifer shares her sandwich.
I thought I'd share mine since we use a different machine.
I use a Cuttlebug and my sandwich is as follows:
From Bottom to Top
A Plate
2 Tan Mats
Cardstock
Wood Veneer {Ink Side Down}
C Plate
Worked like a charm!
I used Inktense pencils to create my rainbow and then used it to create the strip down the side and also to die cut the Hand Lettered Hello.
Thanks for stopping by!
