This time I've used a new set called Citrus Background Builders. This is an awesome set that includes two large stamps that make creating backgrounds super quick and easy. I've used the pineapple one here to create a cool emboss resist background. I stamped it several times with Versamark Ink, heat embossed it with clear embossing powder and then added color with ink and sponge daubers. I used three shades of yellow/orange PURE Color Dye Ink: Falling Star, Hayride, and Wild Mango.
As well as the two large images, the set includes a few smaller images to use to create backgrounds in any pattern you like. You can also use them as accents on your card design. I used the pineapple stamp and die from the new Summer Citrus set to create my focal point embellishment. I embossed it and added color the same way I have done to my background.
I used the new Basic Labels stamp set and dies to create the large oval as well as the little Happy Birthday label. The set includes more than just birthday sentiments, but I need birthday cards in my stash!
A few little 'ghost' images stamped in gray ink make all that white space a bit more interesting!
