I enjoyed my extra hour of sleep this morning.
Ryan and I went out for breakfast, did the grocery shopping, and I have made my cookie dough. It's chilling in the fridge for an hour. I'm making these tried and true Molasses Cookies. I have been making them for years and everyone loves them. I doubled the recipe so that there will be enough for Ryan and I both to bring some to work for coworkers. They are very easy to make. Now even easier with my mixer!
Today's card uses the adorable bear from PTI Warmest Wishes with the cool snowflakes from PTI Snowflake Sparkle. The polar bear is standing on a piece of ice from the WP9 stamp set, Winter Pals. The sweater and snowflakes are colored with Copic markers. I liked the arrangement of elements on this card, but the background needed something to help ground them. I just wanted a hint of color. I pulled out my Copic Airbrush System and added the medium tone green. Just enough!
