All of the new WPlus9 products are available now in the WPlus9 store as well as other online retailers.  I have another card to share today using the Holiday Hugs stamp set.  I just love this one so much I couldn't stop using it.  Joni certainly designed a winner if you ask me!

 

 To create the little oval window I used one of the dies included with the Anastasia Tag Die.  Behind the window I stamped the solid snowflake rectangle stamp, from Snowflake Backdrops, in Fairy Dust ink.  I die cut the cute bear and colored it in with my copic markers.  I set him partially into the window letting his scarf blow outside.  I die cut a few gifts to pile up and placed one in the little girl's hand.  On a banner die cut I stamped a sentiment from the new Christmas Greetings. The background panel is die cut with the Sunshine Layers die and mounted on a Cupid's Bow card base.

 Happy Day-After-World-Card-Making-Day Day! ;)

Did you participate? I wanted to, but didn't get around to it.  I baked early in the morning and then got into cleaning the house.  I invited my parents over for dinner and to help me eat all the Cinnamon Chip Pumpkin Cookies I baked! Before I knew it, WCMD had come and gone.  That's alright, I don't need a special day as a reason to make cards.  I pretty much do it every day anyway!

 

 

Today I am showcasing another beautiful new set being released this month, called Holiday Boughs.  Starting with a piece of watercolor paper, I did all of my white embossing first.  Then I went back in with more leaves and the secondary sentiment and embossed them in gold.  Both sentiments are from the new Christmas Greetings stamp set. I added color using a few shades of green distress ink and let that dry.  Once the panel was dry, I die cut it with the Love Mom Layers die.

 Good Morning

It's Saturday and I plan on sleeping in!

The weather changed very quickly around here and I could use some of these clothing items.  OK, maybe it's not that cold yet, but we did have a fire in the wood stove last night and it felt amazing. 

Today I am continuing the WPlus9 release week with a peek at a new set called Holiday Cheer.  This is a set with so many possibilities and I have only just scratched the surface with this project.  Stayed tuned for many more in the future.  I just love it.

 

 

Each stamp design has an outline and a solid stamp.  You can color the outlined images or fill them in with the solid stamp like I've done here.  I chose Lake House and Bo Peep ink to create a frosty vibe.  I accented some of the images with some sparkles from the Winter Wonderland stamp set.  I die cut a window using one of the ovals from the new Anastasia Tag Die set.  Inside the window I stamped the sentiment from Holiday Cheer.  The stamped panel was die cut with the Love Mom Layers die and mounted onto a Black Cardstock base.

 Hey! I'm back today to showcase a few more awesome stamp sets and dies being released this month from WPlus9.  First up is Amaryllis!  It's such a perfect set for the holidays.  I get a red amaryllis every year at Christmastime.  It's a must!

 

 

On this project I wanted to create what looks like a botanical print.  I colored the amaryllis with deep reds.  I used a smaller rectangle die cut, placed in the center with temporary adhesive, to trace around with a black liner pen.  I just lifted my pen whenever I came in contact with an image.  Then, I removed the rectangle.  I used both sentiments from this set, but you can mix these images with so many other WP9 sentiments!

 

 

 Using a brand new die called Anastasia Tag Die, I created a Christmas ornament.  I decorated each panel of the ornament with images and sentiments from two new sets, Christmas Nutcracker and Christmas Greetings.  Check out {this little video} of the ornament spinning!

Hello and welcome to the WPlus9 October 2015 Release!  There are so many fun, beautiful, and whimsical holiday sets in this release.  I'm starting out the week with an adorable set designed by Joni called Holiday Hugs! I Love It! I colored this sweet image with copic markers.  I decided I wanted to try to create the effect of pointillism!  All color and shading is applied just by pouncing the marker to create dots.

 

 

Once the image was colored, I die cut the entire panel with the Love Mom Layers die.  The coloring took awhile, but it is so worth it. I used this same technique on a  project that will post later this morning for the Ellen Hutson October Mix It Up Challenge featuring Essentials By Ellen and WPlus9!
