Hello!
I've lost an hour of sleep, but I'm really excited about it. Why? More light in the afternoon! I made this card yesterday inspired by our day at the shore on Saturday. It was a little hazy and grey, but the sun was out!
I tried to capture the colors and mood of the day. It's amazing how the way the watercolor dries on the paper can make me so happy!
I used dye ink swiped in stripes on my craft sheet to create the watercolor background. Starting at the bottom I swiped on tan, blue, light blue, and grey. I spritzed it all with water and dragged my paper through the colors sideways so that the color mimicked the sand, sea, and sky.
I wanted it to be very subtle and add to the calm mood.
Thanks for stopping by!
LOVE this.....can summer be far behind? I must get those tag dies, I just love that little dotted border, too!
