I'm using Lacey Layers dies again, this time to create a 3 holed stencil. I sponged on color and stamped the boat and bird images. After removing the stencil I used the die cut circles to mask off the sponged area so that when I stamped the circle image I only got the words around the outside. Because the masked area was larger than the center of the stamp, it stamped irregularly, but I that's the part I loved most about it!
I wanted to let you know about two features I recently added to my blog;
both added to the right sidebar. First, by request, is a 'follow this blog by email' button.
Because I use a blog reader, Feedly, I wasn't aware of the need for this option, but I am happy to add it for you. The second is a 'search this blog' button. I was looking for a card recently and didn't know where to start. I had to think of what month and what year I might have posted it. I thought it would have been so much easier to find if I have a search feature on my blog.
I hope you find both of these helpful.
Nice to see you again!

ReplyDeleteGosh Kara this is stunning, beautiful inking!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great card! Love the inking!
ReplyDeleteThank you for adding the "follow this blog by email" button! I will now never miss one of your amazing cards. :)
I really like this one Kara...it gives the illusion that the text is swirling around the images.
ReplyDeleteStunning design and execution, Kara! Thank you for adding the follow by email button; now I'm all set. I have the search button, too, but someone told me that on Blogger blogs, look in the top left-hand corner, way up at the tool bar and you will see a little box. That's for searching a blog, too! So now if you go to someone's blog (who uses Blogger) and they don't have a search button, you can still search their blog! Cool, huh? I had no idea.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous design ....turned out amazing!
