12 Kits of Occasions {July} + A Giveaway

Wednesday, July 31, 2013

This month we are celebrating birthdays!
Christina's kit came at the perfect time for me because I know so many people with birthdays in July, August, and September.  This kit was full of fun products I 've wanted to try, like the Wplus9 cupcakes and the adorable Memory Box lanterns.

How fun?
I love the idea of opening a small envelope and out pops balloons, sequins, and stars!
I've already used this card for a little boy who's turning 1!

This is my idea of celebrating...anything sweet!

Christina sent so many beautiful papers.  I wanted to use a lot of them, on one card.
That's not something that I do well, but I know someone who does.
Her name is Stacey, and she makes the most beautiful cards.  You have probably seen in her in The File once or twice {OK, a lot}!
I used this card of hers to guide my design and I love it!

This one is fun!
Sort of makes me thing of opening up a bottle of bubbly at an outdoor party that has festive lanterns strung up!!

This cupcake, all glittered up, is my favorite from this month.
To see the full card and to be entered into the GIVEAWAY hosted by Christina,
visit the new 12 Kits Of Occasions Blog
Each month you will find one card from several of the ladies; their favorite!
You will also find a detailed list of the kit contents.

Can you tell I really loved this kit?
Check out what all of the other ladies have made with theirs.
I can't wait to see myself!

  7. Oh my goodness Kara - the one thing I couldn't figure out - the envelope you totally rocked. It totally stole the show here - all those balloons popping out of the envelope! How fun. I think my next fave would be the dots that start out small and get bigger at the top - you definitely captured the bubbly effect here!

  10. Kara, what an incredible job you did with this kit! I love the balloons coming out of the envelope with the scattered stars and sequins. Love that darling cupcake on a stand and the cut out banner at the top on the second one. You are so right about Stacey being an inspiration with her layered papers--you did an amazing job CASEing her! Your little lanterns look so sweet with the "bubbles" rising up through them, and I just adore the card you shared on the 12 Kits blog. Awesome job on all of these!
