Making my own background paper is truly one of the things that I love most about stamping!
I have always loved the look of argyle, but I don't have an argyle stamp set.
No problem....
I used the doted 'x' stamp from Button Boutique. After cutting my cardstock to size, I drew a large x from corner to corner to find the center. I stamped my first 'x' in the center and then stamped out from there and erased my pencil lines.
Then, with one of the diamonds from Happy Harlequin, I added 3 different colors in a pattern starting with the pink one in the center and then working outwards.

If I tried to do this, it would take many attempts and I'm sure I'd give up in the end. I am in awe of how perfectly you have lined everything up and how perfectly it is stamped! The colours are also just right for this design.
