The Heart Of Christmas

Wednesday, October 10, 2012

Some new goodies arrived yesterday!
Wplus9 had a really fantastic release this month.

Somehow I smudged a little kraft ink on the L.
Part of me says, "Rip it off and fix it!"
The other part of me says, "Leave it! Stop wasting paper, no one will notice anyway."
What would you do?

See you later!

  8. Great card, Kara! I can't even see where you smudged the ink. Sometimes, if this happens to me, I'll take a kraft knife and scrap off the ink.... and then go over it with a white eraser to smooth it out.

  9. My order came yesterday too and I couldn't wait to try something out either. It was such a fabulous release this month!! Your card is wonderful! Love the neutrals! Don't worry about the smudge. I'm like you though about fretting over what to do about mistakes. Trying to figure out what new direction to go with errors is just part of the creative process!

  10. This is amazing Kara! The smudge? I didn't even notice it! But I completely understand. ;) If I smudged it after it was done, it would stay. If I did it before adhering...I would cover the word in glitter. I'm too lazy to die cut it again! :)

  13. Love the craft snowflake. I would leave the smudge...that's part of it being hand made.

  14. Love your card, Kara! I couldn't see a smudge in the photo, but I've been saved more than once by a tip from Lisa (Poppypaperie). Use a tiny, tiny brush and just a dab of bleach. I use straight up bleach and just a little bit so the paper doesn't get soaked. HIH!

  15. how about using a white pen to go over the smudge? Believe it'll be less noticeable then.
