Hi guys! Just popping in to post a quick and easy card.  I created a mask using the butterfly from the WP9 Small Butterfly Frame die.  I made the mask from thin copy paper so that when I stamped over it the stamp would make contact through the intricate portions of the die cut mask. I stamped the solid square stamp from the WP9 Greetings and Salutations set.  Each quadrant was stamped in a different color.

 Thanks for dropping in.
2 more days of school!!

Summer Squares

Monday, June 15, 2015

Hola!
For this card I stamped the solid square stamp, from the new WP9 Greetings and Salutations, in a grid pattern.  I used 7 shades of yellow, orange, and pink ink.  Some squares are stamped full strength and some are second generation, giving the illusion of many more than 7 colors.

I added some details in black with a cool little stamp from the WP9 Papel Picado stamp set.  I die cut, stamped, and heat embossed on some vellum.  I attached the vellum to the stamped panel with some foam tape underneath the black banner.  I didn't want the vellum to lay directly on top of the stamping because then the white sentiment was less visible.

Thanks again for coming by for a visit!

DIY Doodle Flowers

Sunday, June 14, 2015

I wanted to create my own doodle flowers using some basic shaped stamps and pens.  I used the solid circle stamp from Greeting and Salutations.  I wanted to add in a larger solid circle, but I didn't have the size I wanted.  I decided to use the back of the large circle in the Papel Picado stamp set.  Perfect!

I stamped my circles in Falling Star, Wild Mango, Sweet Nectar, Little Piggy, and Sweet Gelato. Then, using a black liner pen, I added my doodles.  I added a simple Hello sentiment stamped in Black dye ink.

I can't wait to do more of this!

Thanks so much for stopping by.  I hope you enjoy the rest of your Sunday!
I've got a little baking to do.

Sending You Happy Mail

Thursday, June 11, 2015

Had some time to color last night and I finished up the card today after work.  I used images from Happy Mail and I added a few details from Unforgettable, too.

Love how this cute little bunny now looks like he's sending happy mail tied to a balloon and the butterfly is hitching a ride.

Have a great day!

Hej, Bonjour, Hello

Happy Hump Day!  Today I have a card I made from a piece I colored last night.  Kathy is hosting another fun month of daily coloring.  Lots of fun inspiration and prizes.  I missed the first few days, but that's OK.  The point is to have fun!

I started by stamping this floral image from Doodle Buds to create a pattern.  I colored each flower with one of four colors {R22, Y15, YG03, BG13}  Instead of coloring them completely, I added some swipes of color in each section of the flower.  I love the look!  I added just a few details with a white gel pen.  On top of the floral pattern I stamped the large square sentiment image from Greetings and Salutations repeatedly to cover the entire background.

I layered a piece of die cut vellum over top and added my sentiment with the stamps and dies from Greetings and Salutations.  A few sequins and it's done.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

WPlus9 June 2015 Release In Review

Saturday, June 6, 2015

It's the weekend! We went out with friends last night and had a great time.  Even though I woke up late this morning I've gotten the house cleaning all done and I'm headed out now for some pretty nonpareils for some cupcakes I'll be baking tomorrow.  The cupcakes are for a baby shower luncheon at Ryan's work!

I realized I had one more card that I didn't have a chance to share during release week. This adorable giraffe is from the Party Animal stamp set.  I colored him, and the little bird, with copic markers and then covered them in glitter.  I adhered them to a piece of Kraft cardstock that was die cut with the Love Mom Layers Die and then embossed with the Lattice Frame Die.  The lattice die fits perfectly inside the rounded rectangle.

Here are a few of my favorites from Dawn and the DT that you shouldn't miss:

Enjoy your weekend!

WPlus9 June 2015 Release {Day 5}

Friday, June 5, 2015

All of the products we have been previewing are now on sale in the WPlus9 Store, but I still have a few more projects to share. This first one uses the new stamps and dies from Party Animal and Happy Mail. All of these cute critters work so well together.  I created a shaker with the large balloon die from Party Animal.  I filled it with heart confetti and the three little birds from the set.  I love birds and these three are just adorable!

This next card uses the lovable bear from Happy Mail.  I turned him into a constellation using some small stars from the Little Bits stamp set.  I also gave him a sketchy look with a black pen.  For the background I sponged some Falling Star Dye Ink in the center. Working from the outside in, I sponged on some Nautical Navy Dye Ink overlapping the yellow slightly.
