Here's a little peek at my new die storage.

I used to store them in the the paper CD sleeves {like this}, but the more dies I added to my collection the harder it was to flip through and find the die I wanted to use.  I don't always got to my dies knowing which one I'm looking for.  Sometimes I go there in the middle of a project knowing I need 'something', but I'm not always sure what that something is.  With this new storage system it is easy for me to flip through and see everything.  The pockets are very sturdy and hold up to the weight of the dies. Each pocket has a flap at the top that keeps the dies from sliding out of the pocket. {video showing this system}  The only die I have that won't fit into this system is the triangle favor it box die form PTI.  That's OK though because some of my most used dies are stored on magnetic knife holders.

Stamp Set Roulette {ColourQ #181}

 

Good Morning!

 

Today Arielle, at the ColourQ, has some bright, sunny colors for you!

I'm still waiting for this kind of day to come my way.

We had more rain and snow yesterday.

This card is the product of my personal Stamp Set Roulette challenge.

I challenged myself to choose two of my stamps sets {at random} and make them work together.

I chose Men Of Life and Garden Variety from PTI.

At first, I thought, "Oh no!" 

I stuck with it and came up with something that I really like. 

I plan to challenge myself this way again.

 

 

If you give it a try. let me know.

I'd love to see the sets you got {stuck with..lol!} and what you did to make them work together.

I also can't wait to see what you create with these awesome ColourQ colors!

I picked up some Versafine Black Onyx ink at the suggestion of some fellow card makers.

It's awesome!  It stamps beautifully, but it does stain a bit. 

I just scrub the stamp really well right after stamping and that seems to get it off.

Yesterday I decided to challenge myself to choose two stamp sets {at random} and make them work together.  I call it Stamp Set Roulette!  Come by tomorrow to see what I made.

It's snowing here today. 

Nothing heavy, just some pretty flakes coming down to watch as I type.

I made a little card with the stamping I did the other day using Sending You.

 

 

These colors have been on my desk now for a few days so I have a couple of projects still to share using the same color combination.

Thanks to everyone who responded to my last post about Google Reader.

I appreciate all of your input and suggestions.

For now I have switched over to Feedly.  I also got the app on my iPhone.

Although it's very different, I think I am going to like it much better.

I love the look and format options. 

It was super easy to transfer all of my current feeds.  The only thing is I had to switch over to FireFox in order to use it.  It currently does not work with Internet Explorer.
