Today's project was created for this month's Cloud9 Blog Hop!

We get to showcase our Wplus9 stamps and products using a beautiful inspiration photo.

I made a little Valentine gift ensemble for my sweet husband.  I'm sure I'll pick hi up an iTunes card or a little something to tuck into this pillow box.

 

 

I love the sparkle on these dimensional stars.  I thought they would be a pain to glitter, but they were so easy to do with some liquid glue and a small paintbrush!

Welcome to a new ColourQ Challenge! 

Arielle has chosen some very masculine colors this week.  I know from frequenting forums that masculine cards are a challenge for a lot of people, myself included.  Now, of course, you don't have to use these colors on a masculine card.  I'm sure you could make a very pretty card with these colors.  I decided to give myself the added challenge of making a masculine card.

 

I used some new stamps I received recently from Mama Elephant.  I couldn't resist these two sets and two more that I'm sure you'll see me use soon.  There are links to the two sets I have used in the details at the bottom of this post.  The quality is great and speed of shipping is just wonderful!!

With Sympathy

 

Sympathy cards are not easy to make.  You want it to be beautiful, but not too fancy or embellished.  Today I needed to make a sympathy card to send to a friend and when I sat down to make it, I just drew a blank. 

 

 

So, I turned to all of the beautiful inspiration on Pinterest.  I knew I'd find something there.  I don't often CASE someone else's work, but when I found this card that Stephanie made, it just seemed perfect.  I only used a different embossing folder and sentiment to suit my needs and the supplies I have on hand.

 

 

It helped to get my juices flowing too and I made two more cards after this one that I will share soon!

We always celebrate low key, watch movies, fall asleep early;), things like that.

 

This week's ColourQ is a little something different. 

Each of the Design Team members are revisiting one of their favorites from 2012!

 

I chose #122 because I love the colors and this card.  I still have it!
