300 Weeks Of Inspiration Challenge Winner!

300 Weeks Of Inspiration Challenge

TGIF! It's here, the 300th week of the Friday Inspiration File!  Every 100 weeks it has become tradition that I challenge you to go through The File, find a project and use it to spark your creativity.  Your final product can be an exact copy or contain only one element of the original.  It's up to you!

 

Once you find that special project that inspires you, create your card and link it up below.  Just by linking up your project you are entered to win a $30 GC to your favorite online stamp store.  You must include in your post: who's project inspired you, what week they were added to the file and a link back to their blog.

My card today was heavily inspired by Torico from Stamp Paradise.  I added this card on Week #295.  I loved the white embossing on kraft with a hint of Copic coloring. I've used a few  Papertrey Ink supplies on this one.  A stamp set called In Bloom for my flowers and leaves, Polka Dot Basics for the white dots and Headline Alphabet Dies for part of my main sentiment.  All other supplies are linked below {affiliate links used}

Happy Everything

I'm back with another CASE.  This time of the super talented Yoonsun Hur of Rejoicing Crafts pinned on Week #297 of the Friday Inspiration File! 

 

The way she colored her card was just so beautiful and striking.  Not only is her card stunning, but her method of coloring on this particular project is something we can all do and end up with a beautiful result!

 

 

I used a Mama Elephant stamp for my recreation.  I chose 3 vibrant greens, reds and blues from my Copic collection and went to work coloring solid sections of the flowers and leaves.  I tried not to place the same color next to itself.

 

I love it! I added sentiments that were stamped in black and cut out with scissors.  I popped them up with some foam adhesive. I layered my panel with some black cardstock and it was done!

Love You Lots

Have you been scrolling through the Friday Inspiration File for the project you'd like to use for the 300 Weeks Of Inspiration Challenge on Friday?  Have you started working on your project yet? If you're not sure what I'm talking about, check out {this post} from Monday.  I hope you are going to participate.  The prize is pretty good! 

To get you in the mood to participate I have a card inspired by the one and only Debby From Lime Doodle Design!  I have added her to The File more times than I can count, but she's just.that.good!  If you don't know Debby, you're missing out.  The card I CASED was from Week #297.

I had a lot of fun creating this card.  My colors did not turn out as vibrant as Debby's.  I also had difficulty getting my white gel pen to create a bold white line like Debby was able to achieve.  All in all though I'm happy with my first attempt at creating watercolor plaid and I think my hubby will like it, warts and all ;)!
