Twisted With Spellbinders

Tuesday, August 7, 2018

Hello! Recently I had the opportunity to pick a few goodies from the Spellbinders website.  Spellbinders has products designed by many great and varied designers.  The designs of Debi Adams really spoke to me.  Her whimsical designs are adorable and I couldn't wait to play with them!

I received this set called Twisted as well as a set called Getting All Mushy. I'll share projects with that set another day!  Today though both cards use the stamp set and coordinating dies from the set Twisted.  I loved this set the moment I saw it, mainly because of that adorable pretzel.  I love soft pretzels.  I always bring my lunch to school from home, but some days during the cold winter months I'll get a warm pretzel from the cafeteria and it is such a treat!  I brush off all of the salt.  How about you..salt or no salt?

I had so much fun coloring this adorable mustard bottle with my Copic markers.  I put the mustard image together with the pretzel because they are the perfect match and added the little heart from the Getting All Mushy set.  I set them on a background of sponged Distress Ink and added one of the sentiments from the set below.

On the second card, I stamped the other sentiment in the set all over to create a text background.  On top of that I placed one pretzel and a heart which perfectly compliments the sentiment, You've Got me Tied In Knots! To make the pretzel a more substantial embellishment I layered up about 7 die cuts.

Thanks so much for coming by today! I hope you enjoyed my Twisted cards!
