Stamped Marbling

Saturday, January 21, 2017

Hello and  Happy Saturday! I'm so thankful that it's the weekend.  This week seemed really long, but it ended well. When I arrived home yesterday my order from Simon Says Stamp had been delivered.  I only ordered a few things: some white cardstock, a few Copic refills and the two products I've used on this card.

This Thanks Scallop Border Die has been in my Craft Supply Wish List Pinterest board for awhile now.  I finally threw it in my cart along with this new stamp set from Waffle Flower called Layering Marble.

I LOVE marbling.  I did a whole series of blog posts where I experimented with everything from nail polish to Copic refills to create marble effects.  Many of those experiments were very successful and so much fun!

The point is, I LOVE marbling.  So, when I saw this new layering stamp set I knew it was for me.  It's super easy to use.  I stamped an entire panel using a few Papertrey Inks {Harvest Gold and Summer Sunrise} and decided to use gold embossing for the third layer.  I cut the panel with my new Scallop Border Die from SSS.  I swiped some Versamark onto a scrap piece of cardstock, heat embossed it with gold and then die cut the word 'thanks' again to inlay into the card front.

Thanks so much for stopping by and have a wonderful weekend!  We're headed to dinner tonight with some friends.  I'm really looking forward to it!
