Happily Ever After

Tuesday, February 18, 2014

Hello!
Time for a little color after yesterday's neutrals.

I created this stamped piece,
but while trimming it down to size I decided I like the thin strips better than the whole sheet.
In the photo below you can probably better see the velveteen technique than you can on the strips.

A friend of mine at work got engaged over the
Valentine's Day holiday weekend.
So excited for her!

Cardstock: Recollections White, PTI Autumn Rose
Stamps: PTI Fancy Flourishes, Beautiful Blooms, SSS Banner Sentiments
Ink: PTI White, Hero Arts Pool, PTI Hawaiian Shores, Autumn Rose, Scarlet Jewel, New Leaf
Dies: SSS Banner Die, PS Cardbooking Heart Die
Other: Rhinestones, Clear Wink Of Stella Glitter Pen

  3. Love it! I did the same thing, but threw the strips away, even though I thought they were really pretty! I think I'll go dig them out of the garbage tomorrow...

  8. I totally would have went with patterned paper ... way to go for stamping it yourself and then cutting through it!! I'm too lazy : )

PS. not sure if I mentioned but I did get some Heidi Swapp inks from M's .. they were just in the process of putting them on the racks so I only got two of them. They're darker than the lids, but otherwise I like 'em.
